how to make: ginger bread

Hi there,

(disclaimer this is a two part recipe, which needs a long time for the dough to develope)




I know christmas is far apart but if you wanna make some really old school ginger bread you have to be the early bird. My grand mother used to make those and let the dough sit for almost a month. Crazy right. But the huge manufactories here in Germany do it all the same. Its something about the spices and the consitency that just develope over a huge amount of time. Be prepared to slap you dough around after the long time because it will be rock hard and you have work with it before you can actually use it to bake some declicious ginger bread.
