☀ Sometimes you just need something fresh, something just different. You see someone who seems so much more like you want to be. In my case, that a room, a room with light and more light, and fluff and pink and much more. But also not more, like minimal. Sounds confusing, Yeah, it sure is. But I wanted to do it so I just done it. Pretty proud of myself to be true. So proud of my little body to get this done by myself. What the F is she talking about you think. Let me show you.

How to make a Wildflower Bouquet

Fields, up to your belly

Its summer, yay. In southern Germany, the temperatures slowly peak upwards and rise to a comfortable degree.

Last week, I went on a really nice ride into the fields. And I mean into them. My horse is more like a pony hight wise an therefore, my legs stroke through the wildflower fields.

I found one meadow, that was particular beautiful. Just so many different flowers, pink, purple, yellow, green, white. It was a treat to the eyes. Just stunning.

As I rode along, I felt the need to pick some flowers. But this is quit difficult with a horse that just sees tons of mummy green to munch on. That meant, doing it later on the day.

I am not an expert but I want to learn how to keep my flowers alive a decent amount of time.

Pick your Flowers

Like mentioned, I search for them around my area. I came to the conclusion that those meadows around me present not quiet that variation, like the meadow I saw on the ride. But, you gotta take what you get. I mainly found white, blueish purple and yellow shades. Well, I would´t be a super colorful bouquet, more like a white and purple one. But that´s ok, looks like it was intendet. My mom actually told me that the fields we have here are very much influenced by the rhythm of trimming the fields. I you trimm it later in the summer, the plants have actually the chance to throw their seeds into the ground, before they get cut off. Thats also the reason why the field I saw on my ride, has got a  more diverse flower range than mine.

Spring come (on)!

Here in Germany we slowly start to see signs for spring. Some flowers here and there.
I am always about taking my chance to try out new stuff so my sisters birthday was the perfect opportunity for me to make some spring inspired decoration. I found some really cool ideas with lightbulbs on pinterest and decided to make some of these.

DIY Fimo Pendant

If you´re crafty but sometimes lack in equipment fimo is often your best friend. Its moldable, backeable, has lots of different colors and finishes and not too expensive.

I´m allways open for creating my own jewelry. There are some looks out there that you barely find in shops or are really hard to reach. Fimo allows you to get more creative with those borders and overcome them.

Gift Wrapping Session

Chrismtas is right around the corner and I guess a lot of you are late with wrapping your gifts and thats totally normal.

I wanted to show you some tricks to make those presents extra fancy and personalized.
My personal preference this year is a plain brown wrapping paper with loads of decoration added to the top of the present, including nice cord, some hangers and name tags.

Christmas Series Part 2: Hanging christmas garden

I love hanging decoration. Suddenly there is a whole other space to decorate. I love the new space above our dining table. It is the main space were we sit around christmas time so why not make it appropriated ? Its delicate and festive and something different we never made before. Plus it doesn't stop the light from coming above so the room stays nice and light.

I love lights everywhere. Especially in christmas you have the perfect excuse to paper the walls with loads of them. In every size , warm or cold, multicolored, flashing or star shaped ones.
I saw some really cute ones at a home decor shop and decided to make them myself.
The nice thing: You can customize them the way you desire.

Make an own advent calendar

Gifts are allways something I want to be special. If I give gifts to someone they have to be somehow personalized or something they need, want or is practically. As a kid I loved to open the doors of my adventcalendar either chocolate or with toys or with little gifts.

This year I wanted to make my boyfriend a neet little suprise. I doesnt have to be expensive, It is more the amount of work put into it that makes it really special. I hope he will like it.

DIY Leave Earrings

Hi there,

I´ve stubled about a new trend this spring. Earrings with studs but another earring piece coming from behind the stud and hugging the ear. It looks intresting and adds a nice touch to farely simple stud earrings. I allways wanted to customise those kind of earrings but felt stopped by the lack of material to form the back part off. Now I remembered working with fimo. It´s a dough like material that will harden after some baking time in the oven. For the fall season I thought why not make some fall inspired ones. So I came across the idea of using leaves. Little tiny ones for a dainty look.

The area around it is really good for different kind of decor. Sometimes you get really sick of your own space. Its too small, everything seems to look really boring and not as stylish as you wish it would. I have to admit, sometimes those feelings appear due to pictures of outrages and gorgeous rooms I see on pinterest. These allways look so nice and put together. My personal problem are the endless amounts of skewy walls in my room. These annoy me the most. But then I think, wathever I have to make it work, somehow. Therefore I´m constantly hunting for stuff around the house that I might use to make my space more pretty. Let´s be honest. Its easy, cheap and you have it right when you need it. This time I found a pretty big,round mirror. The combination of too much pinterest and a round mirror lead to this tutorial. I hope you enjoy it and maybe try it out yourself.
