Bircher Breakfast

How to make some delicious Bircher Muesli

I love a good heavy breakfast with eggs, pretzels and jam but sometimes you got to keep those treasures for the weekend and give you belly something healthy but jummy during the week. Bircher Muesli is a perfect match of yoghurt, fruit, nuts and flavor. Its fruity, crunchy and creamy.











You need :

  • 1 handfull oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup yoghurt
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons agave nectar
  • 1 apple
  • some hazelnuts
Making the muesli:
  • fill the oatmeal and water in a breakfast bowl
  • let it soak for some minutes
  • mix it up with the yoghurt
  • add some cinnamon and the agave nectar and stir it until its well combined
  • either cut the apple into small cubes or do what I prefer, grate the apple down 
  • add the apple and some cut hazelnuts
  • enjoy your muesli   
  • little tip: if you like your oatmeal softer, let it soak into the water over night

And thats about it. Easy, fast and delicious and healthy.
